Barnes Junior School in Sunderland have been very busy fundraising for Pawz for Thought.They presented us with a very welcome cheque of £120 and filled one of our food bins!

 

After one of our Pawz volunteers went into Barnes Junior School and chatted with Year 6 pupils, about our charity, they decided to do some fundraising for us. First they organised a cake sale for us and raised £120!

Next they borrowed one of our large food collection bins that we usually put into shops and supermarkets and asked if anyone could donate some food for our hungry animals. Just like the cake sale, it was well supported and the bin was filled very quickly.

A great big thank-you to the pupils and their families for their generosity and of course to the staff for making it all possible.
